This kit pairs Caya® Gel — a hormone-free contraceptive gel — with Medintim disposable vaginal applicators, giving you everything you need for hygienic, accurate application alongside your Caya® diaphragm or other barrier method.
About Caya® Gel
Caya® Gel uses cellulose to form an additional physical barrier at the cervix while lowering the pH of vaginal fluid. This increased acidity, combined with the gel's viscosity, helps inhibit sperm motility. It's hormone-free and water-soluble, and can be used alongside natural rubber or polyurethane condoms as well as the Caya® or Singa® diaphragm.
About the Vaginal Applicator
The included applicators make it simple to insert gel cleanly and accurately:
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Screw the applicator onto the Caya® Gel tube (fits 9 mm threaded tubes).
- Gently squeeze the tube until gel reaches the dosage mark on the applicator.
- Unscrew and insert the applicator to dispense the gel.
Applicators are recommended for single use, making it easy to top up gel between uses or apply it after your diaphragm is already in place — without needing to remove it.
