Scowns Pharmacy Online Refund & Returns Policy
At Scowns Pharmacy, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent service. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for refunds and returns, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Consumer Guarantees
You are entitled to a refund, exchange, or repair if the product:
- Is faulty or damaged.
- Is not of acceptable quality.
- Does not match the description or sample.
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases under the following conditions:
- The item is returned within 14 days of delivery.
- The item is unopened, unused, and in original saleable condition.
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and any promotional items are included.
- A valid proof of purchase is provided.
Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns
3. Items Not Eligible for Return
Due to health and safety regulations, the following items cannot be returned for change of mind:
- Prescription medications
- Pharmacist Only and Pharmacy Only medicines
- Vitamins and supplements
- Baby/infant formula
- Consumable items (e.g., food, drinks)
- Fragrances and cosmetics
- Personal care items (e.g., electric toothbrushes, shavers, Blood Glucose Monitors, Cholesterol Monitors )
- Products with less than 3 months until expiry
- Any item advertised as non-returnable
These restrictions ensure product integrity and safety, as we cannot verify storage conditions once items leave our premises.
4. How to Request a Refund or Return
To initiate a return:
- Email us at mail@scownspharmacy with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide a return reference number and instructions.
- Returns must be sent via tracked mail to the address provided.
5. Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.
