Chemists Own Lactulose Oral Liquid 500mL

Chemists Own Lactulose Oral Liquid treatment of chronic and habitual constipation. Where a soft stool is considered of medical benefit (haemorrhoids, post-colonic/anal surgery).

FEATURES

• Can be used in children and infants under 1 year of age. It is recommended that if Chemists’ Own Lactulose Liquid is given to infants and children, this should be done under medical supervision
• May be mixed with fruit juice, water or milk

Temporarily relief for symptoms :

• Constipation

DOSAGE

May be taken mixed with fruit juice, water or milk.

Adults: The usual initial dose is 15-45 mL daily. After three days the dose may be reduced to 15-30 mL daily for maintenance.

Children and inflants: (only under medical supervision):

• Infants under 1 year: Initially (3 days) 5mL/maintenance 5mL.
• 1-6 years: Initially (3 days) 5-10mL/maintenance 5-10mL.
• 7-14 years: Initially (3 days) 15mL/maintenance 10-15mL.

Contains sulfites, lactose, galactose and sugars.
