Using a nasal spray in children

Children are often more likely to co-operate when they are involved in their own treatment. Get them into the habit of using their saline nasal spray at bath/shower time or when they are brushing their teeth. They often feel good about doing it themselves and they will have a clearer nose before going to sleep. A clearer nose can result in better sleep. Flo Kids Saline Nasal Spray has an easy thumb drive and pump which allows it to be used at any angle, making it quick and easy to use. Here’s how:
- Get your child to sit or stand in a comfortable position.
- Position the Flo Kids Saline Nasal Spray applicator tip just below the child’s nostril and insert the required dose into each nostril.
- Wipe their nose with a soft clean tissue (or get them to do themselves!).

A clear nose is important
A child’s nasal passages can easily become blocked when excess mucus is produced due to colds, viral infections, allergies, or hay fever.

Flo Kids is an isotonic saline solution with added minerals. It can be used to moisturize nasal tissue, clear nasal passages and thin and wash away excess mucus (produced by colds or allergies/hay fever). It can also help stimulate the natural cleansing action of the nose. It can be used to help children breathe more easily and as a result sleep better.
INGREDIENT: Sodium Chloride, Sodium bicarbonate(anhydrous) potassium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium hexahydrate and water at pH 7 - 8.5. There are no preservatives and no other chemical additives.
