DURO-TUSS CHESTY COUGH LIQUID 6 YEARS + bromhexine hydrochloride 0.8mg/mL oral liquid bottle 200mL is indicated for the following:

Helps break down mucus and helps clear the chest in conditions accompanied by excessive mucus secretions such as in the common cold, influenza, infections of the respiratory tract or in other conditions where excess mucus is produced.

WARNINGS: Store below 30 degrees Celsius

Age: Adults and children 12 years and over.
Dosage: 15mL.
How Often: Every 8 hours as required (maximum 3 times a day).

Age: Children 6-11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner).
Dosage: 5-10mL
How Often: Every 8 hours as required (maximum 3 times a day).

Do not use this medicine:
– In children under 6 years of age.
– If seal is broken.
– If past the expiry date.

Caution: This medication contains 11.03g sorbitol per 45mL (maximum recommended daily dose). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Also contains methyl hydroxybenzoate.
